A non-competitive mentoring program for girls ages 5-12* years

Each year, during the Miss Morganton competition, girls ages 5-12 years have the opportunity to capture the spotlight as a Carolina Star.

Our Carolina Stars serve as mentees to the young women who compete for the Miss Morganton, Miss Catawba Valley, Miss Morganton's Teen, and Miss Catawba Valley's Teen titles.  It's wonderful experience for girls who love pageantry and aspire to someday become Miss America. Carolina Stars are given the opportunity to participate with our titleholders in various local events and activities throughout the year. 

Local Carolina Stars are also given the opportunity to participate at the state level with our titleholders if they choose.

*You do NOT have to be paired with a delegate in the competition to participate in the local Carolina Star Program.
